ACSC Trap Range Information

There is a special Trap shoot schedualed for Sunday May 1st. The range should be set up around 11:00am for practice and warming up. At 12:30pm we will sell the shooters and start shooting the $30 killer at 1:00pm. After the finish of the big killer we will shoot more games if there is interest untill finished.

Noon: Trap opens for practice and games
1:00 PM: 25-Bird Race (10@16 yd., 15 @25 yd.) = $6 ($3 targets, $3 pot), Long Run = $1
$30 Killer (8 marks) starts at the conclusion of the bird race

At the trap shoot on July 29th we will be shooting another $20.00 killer. We will start shooting practice at about 6:00pm and start the big killer around 7:00pm and shoot until finished. We will shoot either orange targets or white targets that will be decided the day of the shoot depending on the weather conditions. We will also shoot some more games after the big killer.

Practice will be $4.00 for first round and $3.00 per round after that. Some games will be $2.00 and some $3.00 per game.

We will shoot trap on the thursdays there is not a club meeting. We will start about 6:30pm and shoot until finished. We will shoot a mixture of practice and games.

There will be a change in some prices. Practice will be $4.00 for first round and $3.00 per round after that. Most places now charge $3.50 and up for practice rounds now. Some games will be $3.00 per game and be 10 targets instead of 5.

ALL SHOOTERS MUST WEAR EYE AND EAR PROTECTION

. Shoot clay targets only.
. Shoot from designated areas only.
. Load only one shell except when shooting doubles.
. Leave gun unloaded and action open except when ready to shoot.
. Pickup empty shells and other trash when finished.

The trap facilities at ACSC consist of a regulation Trap Field with an automatic trap machine. Target release is accomplished by each individual shooter through a voice activated system. The newest improvement to the range is a building to store equipment and provide comfort for shooters.

Members enjoy the use of 2 manual throwers and a Sporting Clays Tower that throws a variety of targets.
