Here's your chance to win a new Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 rifle. This is the new model for 2012 and demand for it is great. We have one that we want YOU to own. ACSC is selling a maximum of 300 raffle tickets for this gun. The drawing will be held at the regular club meeting on the 2nd Thursday after the 300th ticket is sold or at the meeting of February 9, 2012 at the latest. You do not have to be present to win.

You can purchase tickets now by including the form with your membership renewal along with an extra $10 per ticket. We will send your ticket(s) to you with your key and card. Raffle tickets will also be on sale at club meetings and from club members while they last. Remember, ONLY 300 tickets will be sold, and you do not have to be present at the drawing to win.

The last 3D Archery shoot of the year will be on Saturday, August 27, 2011. It will be a hunters shoot, so come out and join in on the fun. The scoring will be as posted. Body shot is -5 points. The 8 ring, 10 ring, and 12 ring score normally. Rinehart targets will be given away after this shoot. Good luck and thanks for a great year. - Mark Phillips

Note: The Rifle and Silhouette ranges will be closed on Wednesday, August 24th from 5pm to 9pm in order to setup for this event.

We have added a second IDPA Style Meet each month. In addition to the regularly scheduled meet on the 1st Saturday of each month we will now hold a Meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month starting at 6pm. This event is open to the public.

We are no longer accepting applications for new members in 2011. Any applications post marked after January 31st will be rejected. The next opportunity to join will be January of 2012.

From Anteaters to Zebras and Everything in Between. An event like no other with Some competition, and 100 outrageous, silly, and down right scary targets. At the R100 you can shoot either 100 targets over two days or 50 targets in only one day. You don't even have to score the targets and you still have a chance at winning the door prizes. All Prizes are distributed by drawing on Sunday at 2:30pm. Prizes total over $6,000 at each event and ANYONE CAN WIN!

Just a friendly reminder to check the individual range pages on your club website. The range page links can be found to the right side of your screen under Ranges. There is often new and important information about that specific range posted on that ranges page that may or may not be put on the main page. Also remember to check out the calendar for scheduled events. The calendar can be found on the left side of you screen.

I would like to encourage everyone to come to the general meetings. This is a great way to find out about possible activities that might interest you. We are always needing people to help organize and support our activities. Come and make your voice heard.

The rifle range is closed on the first Sunday of each month during silhouette matches from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for safety reasons. For more information see the "Rules of the Range" articles on both the Silhouette Range page and the Rifle Range page. Remember, these ranges do NOT operate independently. Both ranges must be clear before anyone can go down-range to the target areas.
